We Teach MO seeks to rectify the shortage of highly qualified math and science teachers in ÃÛÌÇÖ±²¥ by putting Science, Technology, Engineering and Math undergraduates on the fast track to teacher certification. The program is a collaborative effort between the UMSL and the co-directed by Curators’ Distinguished Teaching Professor , Orthwein Endowed Professor of Lifelong Learning and Department of Mathematics and Computer Science Chair . graduate student Nicolle von der Heyde will mentor and educate participating STEM students.
